Running from Dec. 6, 2005 to Jan 7, 2005, the VBU Project 8: Abstracts was a complete success. Above are the twenty-one selected artworks that were the highlights of the competition.
The VBU would like to thank all of the participants in this project, the deviantART Artist Relations department, and the supportive community! Another big thanks goes out to *6665 for making the flash. Be sure to look for more in the future from the VBU. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
